Back to school (uni)This past week has been the most exciting (vacations wise) so far and hopefully the excitement will continue for quite some time. but going to university amid all the eating-outs, daawats, picnics etc was....well....you can imagine how it was! i simply did NOT want to gooooooo....
woke up early today....yes as early as 8 am, excavated my bag from under a ton of laundry which i had been sorting, rummaged my drawers for a working pen....zipped up the bag then remembered that something known as a notebook is also needed *sigh*, searched for a reasonably clean notebook with free pages.....and searched for ID card under the clothes in my wardrobe, yes thats where it goes :P
Oh nowww where did i keep those white socks? where where? finally found them rolled up like a ball in one corner of the drawer, hurriedly fixed the hijab and practically ran out. Halt! forgot the cell........aaarghh ran in, stuffed the cell in the bag and OUT finally. reached the bus stop after a 2 minute walk (or run) then remembered another essential item had been forgotten. Ran back again........
Flagged the bus down, and got on panting and found an emtpy seat too. luckily!
but the next bus to the uni was not so good and my freshly *deodrized* and *showered* self would have been hard to distinguish in that sea of smelly, sweaty bodies, hanging on to dear life by a handle or anything to hold on to. but well......i reached the uni 10 mins before class and the familiar sight of all the buddies sitting in their usual spot on the corridor floor lifted the spirits up a BIT.
a very funny thing happened...we all saw in the timetable that some EH would be taking our electronic media course this sem, so from the list we singalled out a certain Mr. Ehsan ul Haq as the suspect. And the image of a elderly gentleman with greying hair was sketched onto our minds. So u can imagine the shock we got when a smart, young lady walked into the room....for the first 10 mins everyone was shifting uncomfortably at this strange *Ehsan ul Haq*, then the teacher sensed and kept on asking and confirming that this is the right class....then she told her name which also had the same initials....LOLZ. Some mix-up we had!
