stop and go..Karachiites have a warped civic sense, no i havent just realized it now, i have known it for quite some time i just forget it.
we are all sooo caught up in our own little worlds we hardly bother to look around us. the age old assumption that Pakis are helpful people living in close knit communities is now lost within the fast paced life we are adopting, or have already adopted.
*sigh*
well it all comes down to myself again....i was coming back from somehwre near Dalmia road and the traffic was bumper to bumper on the road. i however was on foot and on the footpath but heck, the motorcylcle walas have encroached upon the foot paths of our city and seem to think it their supereme right to zoom on the footpaths. So what if the road is jammed? wait for ur turn na, whats the hurry? i was SOO annoyed that after muttering a few abuses (silently!) i decided to not to let them pass and walk dead centre on the foot path- and thats exactly what ive been doing for the last two days. the resulting scene is so hilarious....me in front and quite a lot of motorcylcle walas honking ferociously behind me, but eventually they give up and move to the road. i am not alone there warna wouldnt have dared to do so, i have my brothers with me and my sister too....so its kinda fun now. lolz :-)
