"we DONT want ur warped sense of humor"We went to a protest demonstration today.
It was organized by the IBA students mainly but had students from various other institutes as well. It went well, really well. We gathered at the press club at 4:00 and were free by 5:00. And it got impressive press coverage too. So, u might see me in tomorrow’s paper :P
It was supposed to be a silent protest and almost everyone had placards with really kewl slogans, but later on student got really hyped up and decided to chant slogans. So we ended up chanting: “Respect for our religion, respect for our Prophet”, “Freedom of expression is NOT the answer”, and finally, “naara-e-takbir, Allah O Akbar”!
I really really felt good, like actually doing something, even if it meant standing on a road for half an hour and chanting a few slogans.
Several proposals were made, the economic boycott being one of them.
So, no Nestle, no Telenor, no Arla products, no Danish products!
