The walk from the uni gate to my department is such a long and tiring one especially if I have a class to attend in 10 mins. I was in such a jaldi yesterday to make it to the class on time that I broke all past records in completed the ‘journey’ in 5 mins! Anyway I caught some very interesting snippets of conversation from here and there on my way. I know it’s very bad to listen to other ppl’s conversation but sometimes you can’t help but listen.
A: bas neeche aajao ub tum apne khayalat se! mil jayega koi na koi
B: likin agar kisi ki ankhon mai pehle hee koi Shahrukh Khan basa hua ho to?
A: tauba hai! Kaha na k khuabon ki dunya se bahar aao!
B: haan tum nahi samjhogi, tum to pehle se hee ‘book’ ho na!
A: iss se kuch nahi hota, tum wesey bhi sirf ik din k liye ayee ho uni!
B: *sigh*
And I moved on…
On our way back, H and I were in quite a hurry and weren’t talking much, mainly because the girls behing us were doing all the talking!

why, oh why do ppl have just ONE topic of conversation? Is it the Starplus/Bollywood influence bearing its fruits?
