"So?"Went to cast my vote for the first time yesterday, and hence witnessed the ‘dhandliyaan’ for the first time too. News was that there will be rangers guarding or overseeing the polling. And so they were, but they were also doing the additional job of ‘assisting’ the ‘ghunda mafia’.
People came and voted in large numbers without their national ID cards, people having their national ID cards couldn’t find their names in the voter lists, and a group of these same ‘ghundas’ outside the station had some chemical which they were openly using to remove the mark from the thumbs of people who had already cast their vote and hence enabling them to vote again illegally. Despite instructions of NOT using party affiliations there were flags (the same red, green and white colored moronic flags), posters with the runaway leader’s hideous picture and people chanting ‘jeay Altaf’ or ‘jeay Bhutto’ and there were cars blaring with ‘mazloomon ka saathi Altaf Husseinn’, mazloomon ka saathi- DUH!!!!!!! Sometimes I just wish I could somehow ask him who are the poor ‘mazlooms’ whom you’ve so gladly helped apart from the jobless youth who is now employed in his ‘ghunda gangs’???
I was outside the polling station waiting for my dad after the polling time had finished, and there was the contesting candidate of the same notorious gang shoving people inside in large numbers to vote, when my dad pointed out that time is now finished he simply said, ‘So?’
